Assignment of rights contract
Hi everyone
I have a contract for the reproduction and representation of photographs and it contains the sentence
I have no idea what MST means in this context. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Penny

Might this be a Catalan-influenced text? If so, MST could stand for "malalties de transmissió sexual", which is certainly a "sensitive context" in which to use someone's likeness.

Phil and Charles make excellent points, so I've done some deeper digging. I found a release agreement with the exact same wording (this may be boilerplate text for this sort of agreement) for which multilingual versions are available: http://is.gd/vBSulZ (I've hidden the URLs in case this is actually your client.)
The French and Portuguese versions have the following wording respectively:

You have a point.

: This could be right if it is using the French acronym for "Maladies Sexuellement Transmissibles". I have no better suggestion to make. (Military Sexual Trauma doesn's seem very likely.)

Hmm... You're right. Now my curiosity is piqued.
