Any better suggestion than "family regrouping"? There are over 35 times as many Google hits for the Spanish term than this English collocation, suggesting it is nowhere near as "normal" in English as in Spanish, so what, if anything, is the usual English equivalent?

Ligado a todo ello, y en buena medida a los procesos de reagrupamiento familiar, la situación lingüística de las aulas de una gran parte del Sistema Educativo de Cataluña se ha visto transformada radicalmente.

I have always believed that "family regrouping" was a too-literal translation. I have seen "family reunion" used in this context in UK, Canadian and Australian websites:
