Spanish term or phrase: Se lleva paz a nombre de guerra
I am not sure what this person is trying to say.

This is an indigenous native talking about social differences on a global level, and the context is:

Hay muchos lugares allí alrededor de la Madre Tierra donde hay guerra a nombre de dios.
Se lleva paz a nombre de guerra.
Nosotros Pueblos Indígenas podemos mirar la Madre Tierra, el viento, los pájaros que están cantando, el cielo, los montes, nuestro volcán aquí está. De todo el universo de vida, de donde viene el viento, cuatro direcciones del viento.

Peace is taken away in the name of war.

Explanation:
Just like war is fought in the name of (a) god, peace is taken away in the name of war.

I think this is what it means.

Asker: I understand what "llevar" means Ana, it is simply the expression that I do not understand. And I have spoken Spanish for a looong time.

agree  Marcelo González: With the same level of uncertainty as your 3 suggests, Ana, this would be my interpretation as well. Saludos.

Peace is sacrificed in the name of war

Explanation:
Seems the question has been closed, but here's a possible alternative. The speaker's tone is rather poetic. Another option could be, "Peace is relinquished in the name of war." Both are still faithful, in my opinion, to the spirit of "llevar" in this sentence.

Paz :)
