Hola, necesito el equivalente en el Reino Unido a este término con el sentido que tiene en España (por si acaso). Una definición que he encontrado (http://www.inmobiliarialeal.com/index.php?page=03) sería esta: "Ámbito de gestión en suelo urbano que fija el planeamiento general y que permite la distribución de cargas y beneficios resultantes de su ejecución". Que yo sepa puede incluir varias parcelas y se usa mucho hoy en día en España. A todos gracias.

More often than not, it an area of land where a developer has 'persuaded' the local council to give him power to make other land owners pay for the execution of his plans - or lose their land.

This is the case in Valencia - other regions may be less corrupt.
