EDTA Explanation: EDTA or the spelled-out form[ethylendiamine tetraacetic acid] are both of common use in the medical and pharmacological literature. EDTA is used quiet a bit in alternative medicine, and is the main compound of the medical armamentarium called "chelation therapy".
