Spanish term or phrase: hexoceras
Hi Proz,
This is a translation of an industrial explosives factory. The heading is:
Fabricacion de hexogeno: It then goes on to explain the process and then says "una vez finalizado el proceso, cabe extraerlo humedo o anadir los aditivos para obtener diferentes composiciones explosivas come hexoceras, etc.

Any help would be apprecaited!
Many thanks

English translation:hexa(methoxymethyl) melamine ???
Explanation:
The extracts below are from Google to show you how 'hexa' has always got 'methoxymethyl' next to it. I also noticed that 'melamine' also comes up very frequently. Then it ocurred to me that the 'cera' in 'hexocera' could in fact refer to a 'wax' or 'resin' and 'melamine' is in fact a kind of wax or resin. I suggest you check this page out and see how/if these compare with your context:

RDX? cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine?

Explanation:
I can't find "hexocera(s)" anywhere! Could it be a typo for something else? I've tried "hexacera" "hexacero" "hexocer" "hexosera" etc., to no avail, too. The best I can come up with is *cyclonite*, with which *hexogen* appears most often paired.

Compounds such as hexogen and cyclonite appear to go into making RDX:

SB 636 - Bombs, Explosives, Etc. - unlawful possession, ...
... devices are used as a 6-14 component of a destructive device. 6-15 ... 3,5-dinitropyridine. 14- 8 (173) RDX (cyclonite, hexogen, T4,cyclo-l,3,5,- 14 ...

And RDX seems to have several formulae:
