Spanish term or phrase: Bancada...cuerpo de bomba
The context, once again, is a boilermaking plant showing off its work. The two terms appear in the following photo caption: "Bancada para INGERSOLL DRESSER PUMPS destinada para cuerpo de bomba y motor." The photo shows a heavy-duty rectangular base with a ladder-like form which, apparently, is designed to support a heavy pump. Is the bancada a baseplate? I've thought of "pump body" for "cuerpo de bomba," but it sounds too literal.

Explanation:
From the decription you give, bancada definitely sounds like it is a baseplate and the 'cuerpo de bomba' could be translasted literally as pump body however I think that pump housing would be more appropriate. Suerte!
