Explanation:
I found a Web site on "poleas de tracción de ascensores" (motorized traction pulleys for elevators) - see first link below.

A description of the pulley:
Máquinas con bancada y polea de desvío, para una entrecaída máxima de 850 m/m.
Podemos destacar las siguientes características:
Eje sinfín, templado, cementado y rectificado
- Corona de bronce, centrifugado sobre núcleo
- Polea tractora con dureza de 205 / 220 HB
- Motores con 120 conexiones / hora ampliables a 240 con ventilación forzada

from above: "una entrecaída máxima de 850 m/m"

This "entrecaída" seems to have a unit of m/m. Now 'm' could only stand for 'meter' or 'm/m' could stand for 'micro/macro' (see second link)

I found Korean knife maker and they measure their knives in m/m. Dunno what that could be.
