Do we have an expression in English for 2ª linea? (with ref. to beach apartments)
And if not how can I express this without knowing distance of apartments from beach?

Thanks,
Anne

second row

Hi Anne,

I’ve seen “second row” (as opposed to beachfront) used in quite a few places:

2ND ROW. RAMADA BEACH. SLEEPS 12.
BEACHFRONT. SLEEPS 8. HOLIDAY BEACH.
OFF BEACH. TIDELANDS. SLEEPS 10.

More second rows, contrasting with “oceanfront”:

This recently built second row home in Playa Encanto enjoys wonderful views of the ocean from its full length sundeck. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. It also has two condos in the rear of the home that can also be rented for extra large gatherings.

Hope it helps.
