It can either mean orphan or illegitimate child.I've included a dictionary to help you decide what best fits the context: a orphan, waif; (animal) stray b bastard As it talks about "alcantarilla" (sewer) it's more like to be bastard. niño sin padres, abandonado,huerfano Explanation: Aqui en Argentina es una palabra que en el campo se utiliza tambien para los animales que han quedado sin sus madres. Si bien tiene un nivel muy popular, no llega a ser despectivo. De todas maneras es muy importante el contexto. En este caso no lo es, sino que se refiere literalmente a la situación de abandono del niño. (incluso alude a la alcantarilla). Suerte!!! |

mala persona Explanation: en este contexto creo que son correctas todas las explicaciones de los otros traductores, pero acá -Argentina- cuando se dice "guacho" se alude a un desgraciado, una mala persona, un "hijo de puta". Saludos Gabriela |
