Spanish term or phrase: hele zin

Het gaat om de handleiding van een "springstoeltje" (zoals hier: http://www.bayon.es/cart.php?action=detalle&idp=4411 )

De instructies voor het verwijderen van de bekleding:
"Colocar la base inferior boca abajo, mediante la ayuda de unas pinzas tirar ligeramente de las 8 solapas blancas pasándolas por encima de la muesca central, si dobla ligeramente la solapa esta operación le resultará más fácil, una vez desencajadas las solapas introducirlas hacia el interior para poder extraer el tapizado."

Ik kan het me niet voorstellen, ik zie het gewoon niet. Wat is die muesca central (uit de verdere tekst blijkt dat elke solapa er een heeft). En wat is een "solapa" hier, een "flap"? Het is heel ingewikkeld uitgelegd, maar het zal in werkelijkheid wel heel eenvoudig zijn. Jammer genoeg heb ik geen afbeeldingen waarop ik me kan baseren en een letterlijke vertaling lijkt me nogal riskant.
