The examples in the documents at this link you will see that in analyses of a pesticide's impact under different conditions, P denotes the porosity of the soil and PD the particle density.

Presumably there are various porosities being evaluated. P1 would be the first.

Post-decline comment: Sorry I can\'t be of more help. I\'m not a specialist and was working with the limited context provided. I assumed that you were translating a discussion about a stage of analysis at which Porosity 1 and PD were being tested or were testable and that, subsequently, Porosity 2 and the same PD might be tested.

I understand that PD may stand for Particle Density. However, such an observation does not clarify my question. "P1/PD" appears to refer to a specific stage in rice development. None of these links address that question in any convincing manner.
