Se trata de un texto que describe los trabajos de restauración de unos lienzos del siglo XVII. No sè cual seria el término correcto en inglés. También se habla de "capas", lo que he traducido como "layers".
Por supuesto, todas las zonas afectadas por la humedad coinciden en el anverso con desprendimientos de la "película pictórica".
En general, los diferentes estratos pictóricos, preparación y "película pictórica", se deterioran al no poder acompañar a la tela en sus movimientos;
