Spanish to English translations [PRO] Art/Literary
Spanish term or phrase:"Andábamos sin buscarnos, pero sabiendo que andábamos para encontrarnos."
From Julio Cortázar's "Rayuela"
The male character refers to his far-from-planned yet far-from-casual encounters with his girlfriend.
I found this to be the closest to the kind of answer I needed; however, since Cortazar's writings are mostly poetic prose, it is rather difficult to come up with the "right" words to translate him. But, hey! translating poetry is certainly a challenge! Thank-you very much. 2 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
