Hello. Here's a quotation uttered by Oscar Wilde, witty as ever. Any Wilde admirers out there who could provide us with the ORIGINAL quotation in English, and if it's not too much asking, the book or play it comes from? Thanks so much, looking forward to your answers. Cheers :-))

"If one tells the truth, one is sure sooner or later to be found out."
Explanation:
I am not absolutey sure, but maybe the quote was said to someone else in public, like the next one:

In 1882, Wilde arrived in New York City and began a year long tour of North America. When a customs inspector asked him if he had anything to declare he replied, "Nothing but my genius."

In all the references that I found, it does not mention the origin of the quote.

Thanks Oso. I've just found it too via Google... the same one but with a couple more commas! As they match perfectly, no reference of the play or whatever is needed. Cool one the other one too. Cheers mate :-))
