Spanish term or phrase: por..........ejemplar...
From a lease contract, the last wonderful bit: "Y para que así conste, en prueba de conformidad, firman las partes el presente documento, por...........ejemplar y a un sólo efecto".
Can someone tell me what this "........ejemplar" is all about. Thank to you all, you're great dudes

English translation:per.............copy
Explanation:
I don't know exactly what all that dots mean, but it seems to be intended to clarify that it has to be signed for each copy, "por ejemplar" would be translated also as "per item" (maybe tehe contract refers to a sort of items)or maybe "specimen signature"

Hope it helps.

OK , here it goes...

Explanation:
This makes perfect sense to me but I too am having a problem putting it in English financial lingo - it's been a long day and I'm tired -BUT here, I'll bat it around and maybe you will come up with the correct wording. What they're talking about is everyone signing and thereby showing that they're all on the same page - the same accord. .........to create a single draft is I guess how I'd put it. Good luck to you!
