Spanish term or phrase: cartera en vigor
Context is an insurance industry newsletter. The relevant sentence: "Para los cálculos de vida se han considerado el 98% de la cartera en vigor, y en el caso de no vida el 85%."

My proposed translation: For life insurance calculations, 98% of the portfolio in force has been used, and for property and casualty insurance, 85%.

current portfolio

Explanation:
Based on my previous deductions - seeing a portfolio as 'renewable', and cyclical, then 'current'

By the way are you sure 'casualty' is OK????
In English it's usually 'life' and 'accident' insurnace.
