Spanish term or phrase: Facilities Object of Access
This is a Spanglish title (in a Powerpoint presentation), which is a BAD translation of
"Facilidades Objecto de Acceso" .

I have to translate back to Spanish to try and find its meaning (so as to correct it). What the non-native translator is trying to say is 'the facilities that are the object/objective of access/opening up/liberalisation are.....(with list to follow)'

The context is the deregulation of the gas market in Spain - the 'facilities' are the areas/fields which are being opened up, and include Liquid Natural Gas regasification terminals, storage facilities, pipelines, etc.

Can anyone suggest a short way to represent this idea in DECENT English in TITLE format?

English translation:facilities subject to (...) access
Explanation:
Hola Ailish, check these out from link below:
"... operators of gas processing facilities (subject to third party access under the Gas Act 1995). ... ".
Department of Trade and Industry - "[SECTION TITLE]
... (c) that the relevant facilities should all be subject to statutory third ... access, except where access to the ... of an economically efficient gas market"
More, googling under: facilities+subject+(market)access+gas
"Open access" also pops up a great deal.
Good luck with your counter-translation.

Thanks Paul, your refs were useful (it never occurred to me to check Google), and you were on the right track. In the end I settled for Facilities Open to Third Parties or similar after dicussion with the author.

Facilities which have the purpose to be accessed

Explanation:
Facilities which are to be accessed. This is how I would say it according to your reasoning & explanations. Hope it helps.

Services (or Areas) to be Deregulated (or to be Opened Up)

Explanation:
If it is strictly deregulation, I would go with the straight forward approach and say "Services to be Deregulated." If "Services" seems too limited, I would suggest "Areas. If "Deregulated" is too limiting, how about "Opened Up?"

Explanation:
me imagino que el autor se refiere a campos o areas a ser desregulados so I think th above title would fit... good luck, bluebird
