Spanish term or phrase: $ oro

gold dollar 3.14
Explanation:
Prices fell from gold dollars 3.14 per 10 kg in XX to gold dollars 2.16 per 10 kg in XX.

From Termium:

English:Trade and Finance (formerly XBF)
gold dollar s
1976-06-19

N.B.: doing Google, Alta Vista and Northern Light searches, I can't come up with any examples of "gold $" in a relevant context, i.e., where the price öf a commodity is given in gold dollars, rather than the price *of* gold dollar (coins). I do find lots of examples of "gold dollar," though.

Explanation:

Gabriela
