TIIE Explanation: The same abbreviation is used in English, as in the first website below and many others. The second website uses the term "BALANCE INTERBANK INTEREST RATE". In your case, I would use TIIE and add a note giving the English expression as an explanation, in case the reader is not familiar with the term.
