Explanation:
A pagará causal is a promissory note that is inevitable attached to the underlying legal act from which the promissory note is born. In other words, while normal promissory notes are freely negotiable through endorsements, a pagaré causal is not, because both the endorsing of the promissory note _and_ the assignment of the agreement are needed for a transfer of title of the note itself. By mentioning that the promissory note is causal, the signatory of the note ensures that he/she won't end up having to pay someone else (dealing with one person only) and the beneficiary thereof will have an easier time executing the note in the event of default.
