Spanish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
Spanish term or phrase:Manto de saco hilado
I am currently translating job role descriptions for a tobacco company and would appreciate any assistance with the above term, which appears in the following context about the physical efforts required as part of the job role:
Puede requerir el uso de materiales ligeros (Manto de saco hilado, Pesada de 6 ½ lbs y 56lbs. En dos partes de 28 lbs.).
It could refer to burlap sacks. If such is the case, the point might be to advise job candidates who might have allergies or skin sensitivities that preclude working with such material. Similarly, the notice regarding the weight of the sacks would be for the purpose of alerting those with back problems or other physical conditions that would prevent them from performing essential tasks required for the position.

Woven sack cover
Explanation: Hi, I am using my guessing skills here.
What is understood by "manto" is more difficult without experience in the field. My guess is that is a cloth to keep the tobacco leaves flat which can be used also to transport them, therefore, more like a cover.
I hope this helps you.
