Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs / Argentine birth certificate
Spanish term or phrase: O.I./M.I. No. -
This is from a birth certificate from Argentina.
Under the entries for the mother and father there are some letters that I cannot quite make out. I assume that this must be some kind of personal identification document:

The document is extremely hard to read, so some of the letters may not be right, but it looks like:

O.I. (or possibly C.I.) on top of a line with M.I. on the bottom of the line followed by "No." for both the father and the mother.

It is probably something really simply, but I have never seen this before.

English translation:Carnet de Identidad, Matrícula de Identificación
Explanation:
I believe that this is C.I. rather than O.I., as in "Carnet de Identidad," and M.I. as in "Matricula de Identificación." Basically, it is like asking for the Social Security number in the U.S. or RUT in Chile.
