Spanish term or phrase: emplintado
"El transporte de elementos sueltos (ladrillos, planchas, etc.) se realizará en el interior de bateas **emplintadas**.

Can't find any references to this even in my technical dictionary. Does it mean enclosed, bordered? A complete guess, from the context. As "plinto" is a plinth, I guess it could also mean something like "with a reinforced base". Any ideas?

Explanation:
Because "plinthed" doesn't exist, and sounds odd...

I think they mean reinforced (pallet-type) wagons or trailers for transporting the tiles etc.
