Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / metallic materials
Spanish term or phrase: chapa blanca
From a building specification. Chapa blanca appears for the construction of frames for electrical distribution components (e.g. medium voltage parts and transformers). The "chapa blanca" in this case is always "plegada" too.

2-ply white metal sheeting

From the top of my head this is what I understand, though there may well be other reasonable descriptions too. They put metal sheeting and not timber perhaps due to fire precautions or regulations.
