Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / Shops and stores
Spanish term or phrase: rodatechos
In specifications from Spain on layout, fittings, etc for clothes shops. I imagine the "rodatechos" of the cabinet/cupboard to be to the ceiling what the "rodapies" is to the floor, but what is the appropriate name in English?

NOTE:In this case I believe the specs are referring to the "hidden" elements of the sliding doors which the designer wishes to conceal: the tracks, hinges, etc.
If they referred to the typical "rodapie" (baseboard), it would'nt make much sense in this context as baseboards are not easily concealed.

runners (top/bottom or lower/upper)

Explanation:
Rodapies is either the part of a sliding door that allows the door to slide, in the context of doors, but in the context of a normal room it is also skirting board.

In this context, as it refers to rodapies and rodatechos I would say the top and bottom sections of a sliding door are the runners.
