agree  Noni Gilbert: Tempted by this option. I know the word in the context of livestock raising (you provide the animals, they fatten them for you) and charcuterie (you provide the meat, they make up your chorizo).//Licensed producer wd seem v plausible.

  -> Gracias, Aceavila. There's little CONTEXT and "maquilador" is used in a different way where I am (and used a lot), but maybe it is a producer under a license agreement.

neutral  Henry Hinds: It mentions bread, but the word "maquiladora", in addition to not being very applicable to the baking industry, would seldom involve textile manufacture, but it can often involve garment manufacture (assembly) and numerous other industries.
