Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / high school diploma (CHILE)
Spanish term or phrase: (c) alagante?
High School Diploma (CHILE)
Dated: "6 alagante, XXX de Diciembre de XXX"
(note: the "6 alagante" is handwritten, and the "6" is also very similar to the writer's letter "C" in name "Carlos", so "Calagante" could be an option as well)
Any thoughts? (neither "alagante" nor "calagante" are in DRAE.
I haven't come up with a single solution.

Es la única opción que veo posible. "Calagante", "Valagante", "Alagante", no dan ningún resultado en Google.

Thank you Urico and Henry Hinds! I must say that Henry's note about the older form of handwriting really "clinched" my confidence in the answer...

agree  Henry Hinds: I'd bet on "Talagante", I know the town (it's close to Santiago) and I know the older Chilean form of handwriting in which a capital "T" can resemble what is described.
