Spanish term or phrase: tazas visuales
"La mayor parte de la costa de Galicia, y en particular el Seo de Fisterra y la Ría de Muros y Noia, se caracterizan por su perfil irregular, que genera innumerables ***tazas visuales*** y puntos singulares de observación, ofreciendo, en definitiva, una muy grande riqueza panorámica."

La verdad es que no entiendo la expresión en castellano. No sé si puede ser una errata en el original pero tampoco se me ocurre a qué puede hacer referencia.

¿Se os ocurre algo?

¡Gracias!

In the light of Tony's discussion comments, perhaps a more touristy option could be "visual delights"... :)

Or simply "vistas", a Spanish word often used in English in tourism texts.

agree  philgoddard: I agree with your latter suggestions. I understand "traza visual" to mean "view", and "puntos singulares de observación" to mean viewpoints, but English wouldn't make this distinction. My translation would be very much shorter than the Spanish.

-> Yeah, I was winging it to begin with... There are only so many ways to express "panoramic views".... :)

agree  Muriel Vasconcellos: Maybe 'vistas'.

-> I think Sonia has already used "vistas", so this could be an alternative.
