Si el texto es de España, Corredor de Comercio y Notario son desde hace bastantes años ya exactamente lo mismo (se unifi´có el cuerpo).

Antes, el Corredor de Comercio era una especie de Notario pero sólo para instrumentos puramente mercantiles o bancarios (contratos de leasing y esas cosas), amén de tener otras funciones, claro está.

En cualquier caso, creo que para tu contexto Notary Public se adapta perfectamente.
