GLOSSARY ENTRY (DERIVED FROM QUESTION BELOW)
Spanish term or phrase:
moneda nacional / moneda extranjera (local currency/foreign currency)
it was written in November of this year and the document isn't from Argentina. Oh - please don't remind me of Australes, patacones or Lecop - puh-lease! I mean, how many currencies can a country have? Argentina definitely takes the cake - ha, ha!
Is this from Argentina and an old document? If so, maybe you should make a note about it because that was the official name of the currency until 1970 if I am not mistaken, which was replaced by the (short-lived) "Austral".
