and see if it suggests any answers on these types of hams: jamón de lomo, jamón tipo americano, pernil, pierna, jamon envinado, jamon holandés. I am guessing that some of these correspond to butt end, hock (shank) end, and other terms from the page above. For example, do you think jamón americano could be Virginia ham?

Thanks, especially for pernil & envinado. I'm still in doubt, though, over jamón americano & holandés, as American and Dutch ham aren't terms used in the US (as far as I know).
