Spanish term or phrase:coliguillas
This term may very well be pejorative slang, for which I apologize in advance. I am translating a report documenting human rights violations in Chile, more specifically, the rights of homosexuals. This is the quote in question: "“La autoridad municipal en sus declaraciones hizo alarde de “lo machitos” que eran en la localidad, que todos tenían los pantalones bien puesto y agregó que existían “coliguillas", pero que eran los menos”. Any idea about this word, coliguillas? The only reference I have found anywhere on the internet places the word in song lyrics, with no other relevant context. Thanks in advance
Thanks for the response. I ended up going with male prostitute, because I had already used faggot for another pejorative term (which I will not repeat here). 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
