Aunque la palabra que utilizan en Hidrología y Geología es "escorrentía": En hidrología, la escorrentía es la lámina de agua que circula en una cuenca de drenaje, es decir la altura en milímetros de agua de lluvia escurrida y extendida dependiendo la pendiente del terreno.
