Spanish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Human Resources / human resources
Spanish term or phrase:facilidad de palabra
This is one item in a job description for an Employee Service Coordinator in a large company. What's the Human Resource-speak for this in English? I was just about to put "good communication skills", but the next item in the list was "facilidad de communicación". The posted expression could be "oral/verbal communication skills", but I would then want something more differentiated for "facilidad de communicación".
Here's all the "Special Knowledge and Skills" that they want of this person, who should have a Business degree, and oversees the employee payroll database, supervises benefits, etc.:
-Habilidad para interactuar con mucha gente e influir
-Trabajo bajo presión
-Facilidad de comunicación
-Facilidad de palabra
-Trato amable con la gente
-Actitud de servicio
-Conocimientos computación Windows, Office, Internet,
Thanks but please keep thinking. I had thought of both your expressions, Mary and Patrick. The problem is that a good speaker suena a alguién bueno para dar conferencias o pláticas. A way with words, right, I don't think it's HR-speak, either, neither would be the gift of the gab, another way to say the same thing.
