Assuming the context is the sale of land or other 'imobiliaria', cuerpo cierto corresponds (+/-) with the concept of 'freehold' (i.e. the buyer wholy owns the property indefinitely (as opposed to leasehold which has a time limit, or other arrangements such as the ownership of partial rights, usufruct, etc.).
