From the definitions: "Contrato a serie de precios unitarios: Es un contrato basado en el acuerdo de un precio fijo, invariable y obligatorio para las partes, determinado por el contratista bajo su total responsabilidad y que *** pagará al contratista por cada unidad mensurable de la obra material, trabajo o servicio que haya sido correctamente ejecutado en cada una de las partidas establecidas en el itemizado de presupuesto. En esta modalidad de contrato, el precio unitario pactado incluye todo costo que sea necesario para la correcta ejecución de la partida, los gastos generales necesarios para el cumplimiento íntegro del contrato y las utilidades del contratista.
