cannot meet the COMPANY's financial liabilities Explanation: "Oporta" can't be right; it must be a typo. I don't think "aporta" makes sense here. It's got to be "soporta", in the sense of withstand or keep up with. So "cannot meet" would be what it means in effect. In other words, they're broke. For "obligaciones de pago", financial liabilities seems more natural than payment obligations. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2013-11-28 18:21:37 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- On second thoughts, I would use the literal "payment obligations", because it presumably refers to having enough cash to pay its bills rather than being able to cover its debts. So cannot meet the COMPANY's payment obligations -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2013-11-28 18:57:13 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- So they may not be strictly broke, but they've got a serious cash shortage. |
