agree  AllegroTrans: "place of celebration of marriage" is what I have often seen on Birth Certs.

Podría tratarse de varias cosas.

En el caso de que se hayan casado por la Iglesia: el lugar donde se celebró o solemnizó la boda.

En el caso de que se hayan casado por lo civil: el nombre del juzgado donde se registraron.

También podría referirse a la ciudad donde se casaron... En fin, no lo tengo nada claro. Necesitaríamos más contexto.
