Estoy traduciendo una opinión legal de un abogado sobre un caso de violación de derechos humanos:

"La Orden de Aprehensión y la solicitud de Privativa de Libertad son inmotivadas, pues los delitos que aparecen en la Privativa de Libertad nada tienen que ver con el delito que aparece en la Orden de Aprehensión.

"La **inmotivación** es la ausencia de relación lógica jurídica entre los hechos que se dan por probados y el derecho aplicado. Al no existir relación entre el derecho y los hechos, en el caso concreto Orden de Captura y solicitud de Privativa de Libertad, la misma, a solicitud de parte, debería ser anulada por vicios de forma o fondo dependiendo de los pedido y del criterio jurisdiccional."

Si les soy sincera, tengo problemas para entender la redacción del segundo párrafo.

Encontré en los kudoz lo siguiente:
inmotivación = failure to lay grounds or reasons
inmotivated = baseless/groundless/ unfounded/without merit

Dado que en mi caso se trata de la explicación de un concepto, estoy tratando, en la medida de lo posible, de encontrar una palabra única para "inmotivación" en inglés, pero no he tenido éxito.

For the first context, son inmotivadas, I would use are insufficient, unless you're sure there is no grounds or merit at all, and then you could use are without merit or something similar.

For the first context, son inmotivadas, I would use are insufficient, unless you're sure there is no grounds or merit at all, and then you could use are without merit or something similar.
