Spanish term or phrase: PLTGO.
I have never seen this abbreviation before, but my research shows it is somewhat common in Latin America. Also it is almost always accompanied by “ABOG” which is obvious, but I can’t find a definition of this usage. It always precedes the name of a person, so I believe it is a title of some sort. The following is the signature of an official letter, where this term started taunting me.

PLTGO. / ABOG. FULANO DE TAL Y CUAL
DIRECTOR DE CUESTIONES OFICIALES DEL GOBIERNO

Country of origin: Venezuela. Any ideas?

agree  philgoddard: I like the way that if you Google PLTGO ABOG, it suggests "Pluto Dog".
