Law/Patents - Law (general) / Arbitration award
Spanish term or phrase: Postura en el martillo
It appears in an arbitral award from Colombia. According to the context, I believe it is related to bidding, but the term "en el martillo" is totally unknown to me. Can someone shed light on this? The entire sentence reads as follows:

"Presentar, por conducto de sociedad comisionista de bolsa que escogiera postura en el martillo, al precio base acordado y de ser necesario presentar pujas hasta el límite convenido"

Thank you in advance

This is exactly what it is. I needed to tweak the sentence a bit, but the definition was very helpful. Thank you.
