Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law (general) / Ley de ejecución de la pena privativa de la libertad
Spanish term or phrase: concepto
I am translating into English the Argentine Prison Sentence Enforcement Act (Ley de Ejecución de la Pena Privativa de la Libertad).
The law describes a series of phases an offender may go through. The inmate, in order to be admitted to a new phase, must attain certain objectives:

"Para ser incorporado a esta fase el interno deberá reunir los requisitos y haber alcanzado los objetivos siguientes:
a) Poseer conducta Buena cinco y ****concepto**** Bueno cinco;

Any suggestions for translating "concepto" in this context?

Thank you in advance for your responses!

English translation:attitude
Explanation:
Its would seem to be a more abstract notion than the concrete idea of "good/bad behaviour".

Where the inmate's head is at, so to speak.

"Attitude" would seem to fit here - attitude to the system, the guards, authority, other inmates...

By way of example, this from Michigan State law (quoted from here: https://www.michigan.gov/corrections/0,4551,7-119-9741_12798...

"A prisoner shall not be given liberty on parole until the board has reasonable assurance, after consideration of all of the facts and circumstances, including the prisoner's mental and social attitude, that the prisoner will not become a menace to society or to the public safety."
