It's used in legal papers. Ussually in writen trials at the beggining of the document.
It is used in Argentina

But since they are out of context they could mean other things and/or be translated differently depending on circumstances.

"Autos" - usually the court record or file.

"Visto(s)" I usually translate as "hearing on..." but in Latin America everything is in writing so it has been read or "seen"; in the U.S. it is "heard".

I go by my knowledge of Mexican, not Argentine documents. Hope it helps...
