In a certification of various identification credentials, a Mexican notary public says that a photocopy will be added to "el numérico de esta notaria." What is a "numérico"?

Also in the text are several names of "licenciados." How do you handle, for instance, "Lic. Fulano..." Do you say "Fulano..., Atty.?"

In the phrase "Notario Público Titular de la Notaria No. 5" how is "Titular" usually translated?

Finally, referring again to the photocopies of credentials, who can help me smooth this out in English: "como generales reproducen las manifestadas en el contenido del escrito materia de la ratificación"

"Notario Público Titular de la Notaria No. 5". Public Notary No. 5. Some notaries prefer the longwinded formula; others simply call themselves 'Notario Público No. -'

Generales = datos generales = personal information to facilitate identification(name, place, date of birth, citizenship, etc. etc.)
You'll probably be able to improve this, but the last bit would be something along the lines of: 'As proof of their identity, they present copies of the documents (certificates, maybe)referred to in the document being ratified.'

For "Licenciado" Attorney would be the best option.
For "Titular" the word would be "Acting" (Acting Notary Public)
For the last phrase:
"As proof of identification see enclosed copies of mentioned documents."

Hi,

Considering this is Mexican Spanish, here are my suggestions:

Numérico could be \"register\" o register number\". You can try the Mexican Embassy just to be sure - ever thought of that? (They sometimes help you)

Licenciado, just call him/her Lic. X (like Dr. they may or may not be an attorney in US terms)

Notario Público, etc. I call them \"Notary Public, incumbent of Notary Office No. XX\" , nobody has objected so far.

\"Como generales...\" I can smooth it out if you will give me some more text, I need a noun for \'generales\' and a subject for \'reproducen\'.

"El Número de esta Notaría¨ is a Numerical recording system or recording in numerical order.

I agree with Vasco on his translation except that I would change "the ones" for "the written material" so it would read thus: "these are exact reproductions of the written material contained in the document being ratified herein."

In this case I would use "Certified" Public notary...

SUCH AS THE REPRODUCTION OF THIS MANIFESTS ( DECLARATIONS) IN THE CONTENT OF THE WRITTEN MATERIAL
