Spanish term or phrase:AVE (pero no el pájaro)
An official letter from the "Procuraduría General de Justicia" of the state of Nuevo León, Mexico, has three lines in a heading: "OFICIO", "AVE" AND "ASUNTO". What does "AVE" stand for? The full line reads, "AVE: 027/2001-III-1". It's not an avenue, it's not a bird, and it's not a Latin greeting. What is it? (I thought that maybe it's short for "avenencia".)
I will appreciate any help that anyone can give me.
