Notes in margin or footer. Explanation: "Subinscripciones" means notes written at the foot of the page, so this rendering covers them both. "Razón" is omitted in cases like this. The Oxford Span. Dict. gives examples such as "Se alquila. Razón: portería" (For rent, inquiries to the super/caretaker.) And "Se dan clases de inglés. Razón 874256. (English classes given. Call 874256.) So in your case, rendering "razón" into Eng. would be superfluous, so I would leave it be! The whatever note might be in the margin or footer will *be* the "razón". Oxford Spanish Dictionary |
