Spanish term or phrase: constituirá a su cargo
En cumplimiento de lo dispuesto por el artículo ... de la ley ..... el contratista "constituirá a su cargo" y a favor de el cliente una Garantía Única de Cumplimiento.

También me pueden decir si Garantía Única de Cumplimiento es lo mismo que Performance Bond?

Gracias.

I want to thank both of you. In this particular case I had to keep the translation as formal as possible but both of your contributions are really appreciated.

Saludos, Marpa

Explanation:
I object to the comment "better English" - if the second person meant the register of his or her sugggestion is more formal, then I totally agree. BUT there has been a clear movement within English for the last twenty years to reduce "legalese" and to make all contracts as clear as possible. In my experience, my "al grano" translations of contracts have been far better received from end users than a more literal "faithful to the flowery Spanish original" would be.

A movement for "REAL Spanish" has not yet taken off - but I hope to live to see the day it does!
