Los términos vienen de una carta detallando información que especifica una caso legal pendiente tratándose de una infracción de una marca de una empresa (creo). Parace que los “OMPI” & “IR” son signos, pero no puede encontrar ningun ayuda en Eurodicautom ni Acronym Finder. También tengo mis dudas come se traducería "impedimento" abajo. Aquí es más contexto:
"he recibido la notificación de denegación provisional adjunta de la OMPI contra la marca IR de mi cliente, de la que también le adjunto una copia.
En España se han señalado las siguientes marcas como impedimento para la marca de mi cliente".
Lo agradecería cualquier ayuda.

OMPI, as provided above, is WIPO.
It seems IR is used for "international registration" (in all languages on the WIPO web page...)
Impedimento in this sense is estoppel.
You could also use "propietary estoppel" because you're dealing with intellectual property rights.
