contragarante= guarantee afianzado=bond

Explanation:
In English there is no distinction made between a guarantee freely given and a guarantee made in response to something, so contragarante is the same as garante. A bond is money posted and kept in a safe place (usually a bank account set up for the purpose) to satisfy possible future debts.
